Some preliminary observations of Noto Peninsula Earthquake and Tsunami 2024. Immediate priorities are restoring the critical lifelines, and health care of the evacuees in the evacuation shelter. Also, need to be careful about the major aftershocks, which may continue for some days and poses further tsunami threat. Was impressed with the early warning through mass media. And a big relief that the active nuclear power plants were safe.
